Common North Carolina Traffic Law Questions

Traffic tickets or citations can result in points for moving violations on your driving record.  These points may cause your insurance rates to increase.  A traffic ticket  attorney may have your charge amended to a non-moving or lesser violation.

Hiring an attorney can prevent you from having to go to court in many cases.

Each case is unique and therefore individual results cannot be guaranteed.  Your case will be evaluated during an initial consultation and we will discuss possible reductions, court costs, attorney fees, and license points.

Yes, consultations are free. Your consultations can be in person, over the phone, virtual, or by email.

In many cases, charges may be reduced, and moving violation points can be avoided. We will discuss these issues during your consultation.

We will need your ticket/citation that the officer gave you.  You can mail, email, or drop off the ticket at our Greenville or Washington offices.

You may pay:
  • Through our online payment option.
  • In-person at one of our three offices.
  • By mailing a check or money order to our Rocky Mount office.
  • By credit card payment.

Once the charge has been reduced and the monies paid to the court, our office will write you a letter detailing the final results and associated costs. This letter will be mailed to the address on the ticket unless you request otherwise.

The most common fines and costs range from $161.00 to $210.00, however prices may differ depending on your individual circumstances and the county where you received the ticket.
